Sneaker shopping with DJ Jazzy Jeff

Back in October 2018, size? celebrated the opening of their latest store in York with a size?sessions event featuring DJ Jazzy Jeff from the Fresh Prince of Bel Air.

Playing alongside Jazzy was Rhymefest, Dayne Jordan and UK battle rapper Lunar C, in York’s contemporary community space – Spark York CIC.

Before the main event, I got chance to have a one on one with DJ Jazzy Jeff and his team and do some ‘Sneaker shopping’ at the size? York store.

Whilst taking them around the store and picking out their favourite kicks (The popular Nike Dusk to Dawn pack was in there) I also got to find out what was in their Sneaker Collection at home and whether or not they were influenced by hype kicks or if they just wore whatever they liked.

Although a few hyped pairs were in their collections, Rhymefest said he prefers kicks which represent him and his mood. With that said, he picked out a pair of the size? exclusive Adidas Yung-1 Ochre, for its burnt orange colourway – which fitted well as it was late October.
