If you follow my Instagram, I’m sure you’ll have seen my post the other month when I interviewed West Coast rapper, singer, songwriter and record producer – Jay Rock.

Off the back of size?sessions at size? Carnaby Street, London, I had the chance to sit down with the Black Hippy rapper and talk all things music, Grammy awards and ‘sneakers’.

Being one of the first music artists to win a Grammy award in his home town of Watts, Southern California, Jay Rock has worked with some of the biggest names in the industry before dropping his most recent album, Redemption.

 After the recent loss of West Coast legend and close friend of Jay Rock - Nipsey Hussle, it’s definitely worth taking a moment to appreciate all of the great music that comes out of LA.
